Squeky clutch, suggestions?

My clutch has developed a squeek when pressed over the last few weeks (just got worse today for some reason) around the lever on the g/box end, have tried whacking some oil down there but it persists. Any suggestions as to what it might be exactly? It doesnt sound like an internal noise unless its chuffin loud lol.

Thanks

does it sound like a bit of a whirring squeak sound
if so.
it sounds like the thrust bearing has maybe ran out of a bit of grease. not harmful to the engine, just bloody annoying to listen to lol

I'm having the same problem with my K11.

I've tried spraying a load of WD-40 around the lever near the gearbox, but this proved to only be a temporary fix. Would some lithium grease do a better job?

Or could the clutch cable be worn, causing the squeek?
