Right, with Portsmouth drawing closer, I thought it was time to start writing my blog, so everyone can see exactly where my car is going, and also feel free to add ideas/comments/critisisms.

The story beings around the middle of July when I was working with my dad on a building site down in South Wales, one of the guys who we were working with was selling his... Corsa. He wanted a quick sale (£400) but by the time i'd got home, checked out I could afford the insurance and got back to him, he'd sold it another labourer onsite.

By this point, i'd firmly got it into my head that I wanted my own car (as ive been driving my dads escort as named driver) so I set out trying to find somthing suitable... and after a few weeks and a few test drives later, I found my car, on eBay, £650 no bids, I immediatly rang the guy and offered £700 to close the auction early, he agreed, but as there was only 12 hours to go, he couldnt close, so we agreed that I would bid up as high as possible (dodgy I know) and we would pay the agreed £700

As the car was in very good condition, it went for £1,093. So we renegotiated and settled on £750, so the missus took me to london to pick her up. When I got there, he explained to me that someone had reversed into the car during the week and there was a small crack in the front bumper, and the left hand side bracket of the headlight had snapped, after I inspected everything, we re-negotiated again, and we settled finally on £720.

The millage when bought was 48,435, bodywork was sound, paint was a bit chipped here and there, but for 14 years old I was impressed. The interior was very clean, apart from a few arabic stickers on the dashboard, which left dark marks of residue when I cleaned them up.

so here are some pictures of the car before I started modifying

I've done quite alot to the car, mainly visual modifications, but the last lot have been performance.

Thats all for now, people who are attending the Portsmouth meet will see, then ill upload more of the "story"

safe. (Y)

Well, I ordered some harnessess and asked for them to be delivered in time for portsmouth, and because the delivery company messed things up... the guy recovered a new pair and drove them down from Birmingham... and told me "I was going to be in the area anyway"

So that was a bit of luck
