Speedo sticking

Hello folks first time on this forum .Have a k12 04 plate 1.2 i am doing up for my daughters first car . The speedo sticks in places , reads 10 mph at standstill and doesnt appear to read correctly . No defects shown on obd scan . Suspect instrument cluster pn ax870
1 can any similar k12 cluster be fitted or must it be an ax870 ?
2 will there be any issues after fitment ie software/config
Only a cheap car for her first vehicle so not wishing to spend a large amount of money but she loves driving it .

Phoned nissan to check if any problems with replacing cluster ie software / config nissan says NO PROBLEMS
replaced cluster for £30 now nats security light shows on dash ( believe part coded ) but still drives.
Contacted nissan to discuss about thier advice but told we can look at it but it will cost £90 plus

Needles are pressed too far in sticking on the facia
Just want the needles pulling back alittle then using a gps ect can correct them

2 eating forks, used as prying bars, from opposite side of each other, are handy tool to remove needle(s).

Took cover off , needles easy to move no resistance compared to revs . Sent speedo to cartronic cost £111 retuned within 2 days , refitted cluster now no red light ! Moral of story - dont trust my local nissan garage cost me £40 and now have a spare cluster
