OK does anyone know what to use to make the music not be heard from the outside unless its bass. I was thinking of using some ISOWOOL Product as they use it in buildings for sound proofing haha. But i dont think its meant for cars. Ive tried that Sound deadening strips which cost like £13 a roll and that didnt really do anything. Still hear it from outside.

Cheers

Sound deadening is more like dampening material. There is a vast range here:

The 'sludge' is meant to be the best around atm, but its not available quite yet! However, for proofing you really need to foam type materials.

On the cheap you could use loft insulation, but expanding foam is also used quite often, but its rather messy!

Are you trying to sound 'deaden' or sound 'proof'

It reads now as though you want to just stop any sound exiting the vehicle?

Unfortunately I'd say this is nigh impossible, as cars aren't exactly an acoustic friendly enviroment and something will always be vibrating with enough ooomph

Unless you just want to stop the rattle, there's plenty of products out there for it, check Car Audio Direct
