Sooty exhaust

Hi All,

Sure its nothing serious, its more of a question of curiosity.

I had the best part of a janspeed full exhaust system for over a year. Never had soot collect around the exhaust tip.

But now!

I had a stainless steel secondary de-cat pipe fitted, making the whole exhaust janspeed. Now after just a few days the exhaust tip is blacker than the ace of spades.

Does this mean its running rich, burning oil, or what used to be collecting in my home-made de-cat (hollowed cat) is now just collecting at the tip and is perfectly normal?

lol cheers

Probably running slightly rich now it's better flowing but you have this on all non cat cars so I wouldn't worry

im actually glad its running slightly richer.. its been running lean for ages and it explains the extra ponys ive been noticing.
