some computer help please

i had a virus and i jus rebootrd my pc n now its lost alot of stuff etc

well i got wat i need it for though 1 thing i cant get fixed is i cant view images on the net i jus get a wee symbol showing 1 is there this happens on both firefox and internet explorer.

can any1 help? thanks alot

Try

Tools > Options > Advanced tab > tick show pictures (under multimedia)

Could be other things though...

Back up all of you files (pictures, word documents, music etc) onto CD's or USB sticks, then put the system re-store pack in, it saves alot of messing about. Just done it to my parents PC, and now it works great.

hmm it was an NTL routing problem... which is now fixed plus he had just re-installed windows anyway
