Got some snow here too, not as deep as that but its still snowing. Luckly i dont have anything to go to today :)

Well we had nothing a 7.30 when i got up for work only a small dusting, but since ive been at work weve had about 2-3 inches and its still going.

We've had about an inch of snow and my college is closed because three people have crashed trying to get up the hill to it.

Nothing here either yet, although I'm led to believe it's on its way South and should hit us late afternoon/early evening

We've had about 6 inches, and on Saturday our Focus made it's imprint on someones Micra as in buckled both front wheels possible write we reckon. But who parks a car on a T junction at the bottom of the hill seriously.

Micra killer! :D

I know, I know so happy that it wasn't mine only because it's SORN'd and no Insurance. I was thinking of asking him if I can pich his interior and alloys etc, lol.

Well we've got a hefty price to pay for the Focus, £150 for a new brake servo, £120 labour and £80 for 2 New tyres.

Nex has the most streamlined micra ive ever seen! :)

lol yea i got a pic of it from the other angle it looks like there is a sports car under that snow :D

panaramic shot of the frozen sea, sorry about my crappy photoshop skills

Ed that doesn't surprise me. Fire fighters are idiots :)

I take offence to that. They were doing their job, and I know damn well you wouldn't say that if they had to pull you out of a burning house / car crash etc.

yeah thats true. did you chains on your tyres to help it grip in the snow.

of course he wouldnt, no need to snap he was just saying their idiots for getting stuck...

They were on a call for two vehicles that had slid off the road. They gave way to allow another motorist to pass, and then were stuck too. As it happens once I had pulled them out they fitted their own chains and were fine.

Manny, the chains made all the difference. Without them its still better than most other vehicles on the road, but its still pretty bad, and you will slide about more than I like. With them I can climb anything. If I am able to pull 7 times the weight of the Shogun in the snow/ice I think that shows pretty well their effectiveness. :)

I work with them every day, i get to see them outside of fire fighting.

fighting fires, chemical spills, fitting smoke alarms, sure they are good at that, its their job, they are trained for it. It was just a joke, don't be so serious.

some good photos there? what happened to your focus? think we need some snow tyres because the car slides and wheel spins and gets stuck.

Got the Focus back today, with a today cost of £496.oo, got Tax this Month £110 and MOT is due this month which I need the Drivers Side Rear Bearing doing HOLY S**T 2010 looks like a bad year already, lol.

MT Motors had to cut the AIRCON PIPES to change the Servo and they're £100 per pipe but that can wait till spring/summer.

had to cut the air con pipes? they sound lazy to me. i don't know any car that once assembled needs to be cut apart again for repair
