You're not planning on going delivering tofu with it painted up like that are you?
Well after seeing it for the first time in daylight today i can tell you it needs a proper spray job so will be looking into colours. As you can tell it wasn't always white or black lol
Candy blue seems nice :p

Engine Anyone? Well what's left of it:

Couldn't get more pictures as camera died so tomorrow morning after work i will try and get some more for everyone to see the devastation.
I am determined to get it fixed up and running so definately a CA18DET transplant is needed. :wasntme:
Bodywork is in good condition apart from a dead arch (rust)
someone painted the rubber trim around the windows, Why?!

Back to red - its a good colour for a car of the period anyhow. Anyway, priorities, have you bought some dishy wheels for it yet? Get it off those high et 17s asap!

Apparantly the CA18DET is a direct swap from the CA18ET same mounts etc. Would be nice if you could find out a price for me :)

Think I should add a poll for colour preference?
I am thinking of either:
Totally White.
Totally Black.
A Stunning Purple.
Not for a while yet but need to work towards something.

I'll let you vote. Not necessarily decide though.

Are you still looking for a ca18det? have you tried the sxoc they tend to go for next to nothing on there as the sr generally has preference

I've not seen a CA18 on the sxoc for a while tbh. Seen them go for cheap though, Fuller was getting rid of one for £50.

Looks like purple is winning. :D
looking forward to fitting my 'New' rear lights tomorrow and tidying up the inside a little whilst i sit in wait for an engine.
Been browsing the SXOC and it appears there is very little anywhere about the S12 but loads of S13 engines :p
Just need one to come through more recent a bit closer (moneywise & distance) then can get on with it.

Update:
Managed to get the car turned around in the garage today and cleared out the boot.
Took 45mins lol tyres are flat brakes slightly seized where it has been sitting :(
Love the front end of this car reminds me of the K10 era.

Now all that i REALLY need to do is find an engine and swap it over. Having no leccy in or near my garage is gonna prove to be a pain in the rear end once again.
