Seat Swapping

Can any of you learned gentlemen and gentleladies and Skymera tell me how easy/hard it is to fit different front seats to the existing subframes (ie. take whole seat out, remove runners, fit runners to new, non-micra seat, fit back in)?

Any help would be muchos appreciated!

On SirChris's car we made a plate with the new seat bolt pattern and the old seat bolt pattern on it and used it as an adaptor...

What type of seats were they?

I've found a pair of Scooby seats just down the road for £30....but they don't have any subframes...
