Just got back, good day!

I was chuffed with the economy on a long run, got 310miles to 30 litres, normally get 230! (That includes 70 all they way, and a lot of engine revving whilst there!)

i had a well gd day tired and me car is lol but goin to alysbury to night wont be back home till 2 again then got work . oh well. lol, the meet was great to meet new ppl i think it shud be a yearly thing lol. hu is coming to jap show next month i made a thread on it on the national meets forum.

looks like an awsome turn out! Sorry i couldnt make it guys & gals,i booked last weekend off for Mod Nats and couldnt get time off for this one. But will try my hardest to get to the next one!

been back for bout an hour now, was an excellent day and a good turnout.

Im sunburnt !!!

will load the videos up soon, got quite a bit of material !

cheers guys and see you all at JAE :D

MSC beats record attendance at Santa Pod!

Back home, exhausted as usual after Santa Pod! lol

Awesome turnout and we beat the record for the largest MSC gathering at Santa Pod!!! :D We'll have to do an official count as it was a little chaotic, which was a shame.

Thanks to all that made the effort to attend, sorry I didn't get to speak to you all, but I'm sure you can appreciate it's difficult getting round to everyone and getting runs in on the strip, of which I managed 10! lol!

No opportunity for a group shot at the end or during the day and with Santa Pod being about 70% cordoned off while they got ready for the Fast Food Show, left little space to get the cars together. I took several images of single shots and then my camera died......great!

I think I have worked out what the issue is with my car, it appears that the previous owner had several aftermarket items on the engine at one point, I think the engine needs mapping and setting up properly. Managed to run a 15.4 which is poor as I was aiming for high 13's early 14's. On the way back on the road it drove great, pulled really well and the top end is emense and I have to say the sound it now makes is mesmorising!

I'm sure people will upload images shortly and Paddy with his video.

I hope all that attended enjoyed the day, meeting new people and putting faces to names from the forum. It was great to see new MSC members and meet up with old friends.

Roll on JAE!

Kev :)

Rich, can you remember that guy's forum name on TGTT?

Thanks
Kev

First meet and the largest! Had a really good day, was nice to put some faces to names and to look at some of the other micras in the club!
Didnt get down on the strip but had plenty of fun, got plenty of pictures which i'll post up at some point soon!

Same as Primal above excellent first meet, im sure i didnt meet everyone but a fantastic collection of Micras! Was very good fun cant wait for the next meet now. That will hopefully be JAE.

Only managed two runs  but given that i had to mission it to a jet wash after plastering the car in mud in the morning AND the unfortunate incident that required the paramedics, im not too miffed :)

Here is my second time :grinning: , im #120, #65 was a mk2 Escort RS2000, id like to think i could manage around 17 dead if i hadnt hit the rev limiter in second oops.

Sorry i have only a few pics and they are crap, forgot camera and had very little memory on phone for pics so resolution is rubbish.

Great day, good to meet some new faces and catch up with some of the regular MSC crew.......weather held out too, which is always a bonus!

Managed to tweek a few things on the car since it's rebuild, so it's got a tad more torque.....shame my clutch didn't hold out though.......just couldn't get the power down, slip off the line and slip on every change......could barely get to the top of 3rd gear through the traps........will give it some more use but I think it's a strip down job :( boooo!

1st run of 16.806 was the only good one with a boggy start, retarded timing, (d'oh), and some slippage in 3rd.........next time will be with an Omex and ITB's and a non slipping clutch.....so should hopefully see comfortable low 16's.

*just* got home and im knackered! Managed a 15.9 in the GTi, got 5 runs in total. It'll be a different animal next time im there :)

Hi, I'm PhilG's mate that was with him today.

I just thought I'd post up some of the photo's I took today. Some are reasonable, but some didn't turn out very well.

More boost vicar!

I have been on TGTT and it looks like I need some more supporting modifications to get the best out of my hybrid and new setup.

So hopefully a HKS fuel cut defender and Sard Fuel pressure regulator and 1.0bar I'll be smiling again, shame about my wallet....oh well lol!
