Running Problem Micra 1.5S Diesel

Hi wonder if anyone can help.

I bought a 2003 1.5S Diesel 2 weeks ago and I have had a problem with it although nothing major.

When the car warms up it trys to cut out as if it is running out of fuel and then it picks up again. Along with this the Engine Management light comes on when I hit 65mph but when I slow down the light goes out again. I have changed the fuel filter but that has not made any difference and my son is thinking that the problem could be electrical.

Any ideas on this?

First of all I am not familiar with a K12 diesel engine, so anything I say is just a guess.

It does sound to me like it may be a sensor, and the 65mph (may be associated with the RPM) is just a way of saying to you, look somethings up, fix me.

I personally would take it to Nissan to be looked at, I believe an ECU fault checking is around the £40 but SHOULD be able to diagnose the fault, as all faults should be stored within the Nissan ECU.
