RHS Reverse light not switching on

Hi Everyone

The RHS reverse light on my nissan micra k12 is not switching on. I've checked voltage on the right side bulb and it is 1 volt. However on the left side it is 12 volts. Please anyone have an idea what could be the issue?

Sounds like an earthing problem, connect the 1V side of the bulb to ground (NOT the 12 V side!) and the bulb should light..

You mean to say the metal frame in which the bulbs are inserted or the bronze-like terminal/spade under the bulb?
