Reversing light switch fix

Hi, I've just got myself a 53 plate Micra with many issues. One of these is that the reversing light switch in the gearbox has gone, after googling I still can't find a guide on how to wire a toggle switch to the interior. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to start? Thanks

Hey Danny,

I've not long fixed mine. It's located on the nearside of engine sump, it's very easy to notice, just remove the wire clip and tuck it away to stay dry. You can either drain the engine oil or if you're quick enough just swap them over.

You will need the new switch (I ordered the one below and fitted perfectly) and a size 24 spanner. (I think...) Just double check the compatibility?
Just watch out, gets very messy and still got stains on my driveway :(

Hopefully this is everything you need, give a shout if there's anything else!

Cheers, Sam.
