Rev Limiter & Launch controll

Hi Guys,

Thinking of uping the rev limiter on my car (doing the covered hole inside the dizzy etc)

Im looking to add an aftermarket limiter such as an OMEX unit, to keep the max rev's to say 8.5K

Does anyone have any experience with these or any problems with the wireing?

The addition of a launch controll button (holds the revs to a pre set lower limit) would be handy for saving a few secounds off the start line (Y)

I realise this could be done by adjusting my right foot!! but im just interested in how it all works & with carbs the amount of pedal travel is very limited so holding throttle is not so easy.

Cheers

Paul

I think you'll find the car wont let you rev above about 8-8.5k there's a fuel cut off to prevent damage.

Good point davey but i run bike carbs so fueling is done with jets :) i should have put that in the first post!

I wouldnt want to get over 8.5K tbh lol
