hi all, i am a newbie here so if you would bear with me i would appreciate any help with a problem fitting a second hand steering unit to an 05 k11! i have fitted the part and now she wont start i understand the immobiliser is programmed through this unit so does anyone know how i could reprogram the 2nd hand unit to fit the car? or if not does anyone know someone near me in essex where i can get it done? all help greatly appreciated. mick:grinning:

i think it`s a dealer only job
by second hand do you mean off a accident damaged car or a recon unit
because i`m pretty sure they can`t be reprogrammed unless there recon units
