Rear Washer Jet Not Working

Hi there,

My rear washer jet has suddenly stopped working. The rear wiper works fine yet the jet is not functioning. The front one also works fine. Any ideas? I had a quick look at the fuses, and couldn't see one for the rear washer jets, could someone tell me which one I should try?

It may run on the same fuse as for the fronts, the pipe may have blocked up, of the nozzle on the jet may be gunked up. Try using the jets and get a friend to listen by the bottle for the motor/pump, if this doens't work you have an electric fault, if it does work, you will have a blockage/leak smewhere. Also check the fluid level

I have tried the fuse for the fronts and that is fine. The motor is not working at all for the rear jet so I think it must be an electrical prob.

I guess you should check all the wiring from the motor back to the fusebox, the motor itself may be knackered though

Id check the motor first. Thats most likely place to start looking.

Sorry to be a pain, where exactly is the rear washer jet motor?

In the front of the car, under the water bottle its the motor that sits the lower of the two.
