Rear trailing arm bushings

In my quest to stop the clunking at the rear, I’m thinking of replacing the trailing arm bushings on the rear axel.

has anyone on here done this and if so how easy was it and what tool did you use to replace them?

not done these, bushes should be about £50 for the pair, and removing dead axle is simple enough if you have some experience, the old bushes will need to pressed out, the housings cleaned and the new one's pressed into place if you don't have access to a workshop you will be struggling. or try a low mileage second hand axle which should include the rear brakes, then its a case of installing it to the chassis. the choice is yours.
