Ran out of petrol now car is misfiring

Hi all, I've got a W reg k11 1.0 micra just got it through the mot and on the way home I ran out of petrol. After re-fueling , it seemed to run ok . But the next day it was misfiring and almost cutting out . I changed the in-line fuel filter and put some injector cleaner in the tank but it's still not running right. Not sure if it's knackered the fuel pump and/or there's crap in the injectors. Any help would be much appreciated.

There's a filter sock on the end of the in tank pump that might be blocked.

Another symptom is when you press the accelerator pedal hard the engine starts to stutter and misfire. Possible jet blockage?
