PS Great site keep up the good work !!!!!

to fit just the fan:
-drain the coolant by unplugging the lower coolant pipe from the radiator
-remove the upper coolant pipe from radiator/thermostat
-unplug the rad fan from loom & chassis
-remove 2 screws holding the top of the fan to the radiator
-move the fan up and away

-test new fan works
-fit & reconnect new fan
-connect upper & lower coolant pipes
-fill up with drained coolant (squeeze n pump the upper coolant pipe to move air bubbles along)

Digging up a REALLY old thread here! Apologies, but its the only one I could find on replacing the radiator fan
In the same situation here. Motor is turning, but the fan isn't, so I've located one in a breakers yard and want to swap them
I'm just wondering about the coolant reservoir. How does that come away from the fan bracket?
I don't want to force it and break it off

[EDIT]Just noticed that there seems to be an earlier type reservoir which is just 2 bolts to front panel, but this is my one[/EDIT]

So I changed the fan today
For anybody who comes across this looking to see how the tank is removed...

At the rear of the black fuses/relay box, in front of the expansion tank, there are 2 clips
Press in on the middle of the clips and slide the fuse/relay box up from the bracket
Now hold the yellow lid on the tank, and pull upwards and towards the nearside wing
This releases the clips from the fan shroud as it is only clipped into place
