very good lovely car
you have glued the steering wheel on the passenger side?
the leather seat's(someone just bought one) are looking so good, they look like factory made for the k11
keep the pictures coming!

obviously,in the continent we all cut the steering wheel from the right

mmm, mate i don't understand what u mean with " look like factory made for the k11"... they are the original ones, made by nissan for k11 and in fact i took them from a wrecked micra!!! or was it an example of "british humor"??:p

next steps are rear mudflaps (i'm painting them), and maybe i can find for free a rear super s bumper... let's see.(Y)
in negative case, do u suggest me to paint the black stripes on the current bumpers in blue?

Car looks good, for those not in the know leather seats, heated seats and other funky extras were available in other markets.

funky stuff for other markets only dam shame living in a third world then:laugh:
used to see the adjustable suspention switch in some imports - soft--normal--sport
mud flaps would be the look you want as you have the fronts, gives it that chunky look
again the seats are very nice

Thanks!! btw a red rear super s bumpers will arrive next week (and i've just ther rear muddlers painted and ready to fit) ... meanwhile i'm looking for a front one

that is good news we have a few over here but i guess it would be too risky to send over to italy

@Shaun: don't think it's risky, maybe it can be expensive... anyway i always keep an eye on buy&sell section :grinning:

@Liio: the kit is -35, but the rear looks lower.... i have to send another email to Matthew in order to thanks him again!!!!

@R-REG-SR: i totally agree! now i'm considering to make a sticker saying "High speed cornering" and to put it on the rear window :p

Found on ebay a pair of clear side lights at a very good price

Today the item arrived, BUT....as you can see here , the new "slot" (UP) is different from the original (DOWN), so the connector cannot stay in his position because the hole is too large and it escapes out.
dscf0314v.jpg

Fortunately, i have the hobby of model making...:wasntme:

so I cut a circular piece of plastic and shaped, made an hole in the middle and shaped it like the original one
dscf0315y.jpg

Then I glued this piece on the new item hole
I also had good luck and found at home a pair of larger inner o-ring, to replace the original one that clearly was too small

And it works!!!(Y)

instead of foglights, i'm building this:

DSCF0388 by pigiobi, on Flickr

the idea is to have a removable thing, using screws; the big one in the original hole for the foglights closed with a locknut (and using a spacer made of teflon), the small pair on the other side making tow holes on the edge for the foglights support

dscf0386u.jpg

before installing them i want to look if i can make a "duct" starting behind the foglights and ending in the front wheels zone in order to direct air to the brakes

aahh yes yes!
this is true customizing, where you take a risk and smile when it works
and still feeling the impact of your leather seats

Very nice example there chap looks in mint condition, the silver detailing in the interior is very nice, just the right colour, nothing in your face just something that looks factory... top work there.

Never knew you could get heated leathers... something else I might look at getting haha.

Keep it up man great work so far

thanks mates!
next steps (used, obviously): 14'' wheels, super s steering wheel (the original one is black, and it doesn't match with the new interior) and maybe an exhaust back box

p.s. if someone on the micra club italia forum makes a report of leather seats from some junkyards, i will copy it on msc forum... but they are rare

I'm waiting for Rizphel's ex 14x6'' OZ Superturismo ... Now i have to sell the 13x5'' original Super S 5 spoke alloy wheel (pictures in previous posts) for £ 100 without tyres, or for £170 with tyres ( GoodYear Eagle Ventura, 175/60R13, only 20.000 km in 6 years, very good state - 80%)

any more updates mate? absolutley stunning car

I did some better pics, but the car it's the same...

For the future I'm thinking about installing gtir/pulsar front brake calipers (used) + new discs and goodridge hose kit.
I'm also looking for a new steering wheel and eventually an exhaust muffler (all used).
Anyway at the moment I have also other things to think aboutfwn.... let's see:laugh:

p.s. what do you think about panel filters like K&N o BMC? established that this does not give more power, somebody say that the "power delivery" (i'm not sure about this translation, sorry) it's more fluid, brilliant, and the engine has more "pickup"... does it have sense?

davey1991

If its not scrubbing, its not low enough.
It makes perfect sense (Amazing English by the way.) Performance panel filters make a good difference where as the cone type just make noise and can infact reduce performance.

news: Goodridge brake hose kit + Sunny gtir front brake calipers + brembo 257mm vented discs + EBC greenstuff pads = insane braking power
