ebay won't even let people sell them until they've been launched in europe...

just a warning for anyone wanting one. As like the 360. games will have regional lockout, and its probably gonna take a few month before its hacked for lockouts, so when big games are released here, they probs wont work with the jap version.

Sorry mate I think your wrong!

Games are region free.
Only concern is the backward mobility of ps1 and ps2 games - will try next week

Blu-ray DVD's are region A (Japanese and USA).

Very similar situation with PSP, no games have enforced the region coding.

Due to the fact Sony dont want these imported into the UK, and sales on ebay and other sites are forbidden, this thread is going to be locked.

Im not sure if the MSC could be responsible for allowing the sale of such items to be permitted on here when its illegal or forbidden elsewhere, so thats one of the main reasons for doing so.
