Powered Aerial

Has anyone ever fitted a powered aerial to a k10? Would also give a vast improvement on the reception of the standard aerial !

I dont really bother with the radio that much, got my CD changer etc to keep me happy

Radio is good for traffic etc but thats what TA is for. Just wish the stupid idiots remembered to turn it off!!

Nope! Take it out and check for rust. Also check the seal around the edge isnt perished.

check the drain hoses arn't blocked. if they are it will cause water to not drain and come over the sunroof seal.

Hmmph, my sunroof also started leaking after the recent wet weather. It's clearly done it before, since the sunroof had sealant all around it. I think I'll keep scouring a well known auction site for a seal, since I don't think my local dealer will be of much use for a daft bit like that.

For the powered aerial, you could always grab one from a different car of similar size, and wire the motor up to a flick switch in the cabin.
