Pollen Filter world record attempt

I have just worked out that I have a pollen filter in my 2000 1.0s. Removed the glovebox and found the cut out panel STILL in place, the filter has not been changed in 10 years and 84,000 miles . Is this a record??? Joking apart, if your fan is rubbish but you can hear four speeds and the matrix isin't blocked then check your filter (Y)

Mine is a 1999 model, and the cut-out panel is also still there! I think I am right in saying it is only Micra's with air-con that have the pollen filter?

So have you changed yours? and how easy is it after you have cut out the piece of dash, I've had a look but it doesn't seem obvious how the heater comes apart to get the filter out.
