Pollen filter location???

Hey guys
I've got a nissan micra visa diesel 2010, this weekend i decided to give it a service and to change the pollen filter, i removed the glove box and had a look were the pollen filter should be, but instead of a filter its just a solid bit of plastic, it does not move and it is a single piece.

Is it possible that my car has not been installed at the factory with a pollen filter?

Hi Maxim, my wifes 2006 micra is the same... went to change the pollen filter and had no filter to remove.

Does not seem the most active owners forum - assuming that most owners are not very hands on with their cars.

Should help..

Thanks for the reply Batfink, that was the video I watched before tackling the job to familiarise myself with the task in hand. All went as per the video til I tried to remove the filter which wasn't there! The duct was solid with no insert at the passenger or drivers side... a real headscratcher.
