Please help. Is it CV joint or driveshaft problem?

Hello everyone,

The other day I did a turn in the middle of the road with full lock of steering and there a clucking noise.

Is it the CV joint that gone or the driveshaft as well?

How to check it to find?
Can it be seen by looking?

Very many thanks andy,

I had a look on their web site and they sell them for 16.99 and 18.99. I could not figure out the price difference. On the other hand, the price for driveshaft is 34 to 56. I think 56 is the driver side.

How do I know its only the CV not the driveshaft as well? In other word how to find the extent of the damage?

The other question is that, how safe/damaging is it to drive the car before fixing it?

The weather is not good for fixing the car outside.

I bought a new d/shaft from them when my cv joint had gone.
Less hassle in swapping in my opinion.
£35 that was for a corsa.
Yeah weather not good at the mo, I got rear shoes and cylinders, handbrake cables to do.
Will be ok to drive, no problem.
But better to get it done sooner than later eh.
