thanks for the comment ,it makes sense out of spending so much money :)

it'll be worth it like. i think some Konig "e-racer's" in hyperblack would look lush on the 160...would love to see a pic of them on it while it was driving.

here's a pic of them if anyone dont know

*hope this works ok*

Here's me and the girlfriends new K12.
Thought i'd put the pic in here to, as it's a sticky thread.

Kiwi K12 with the Lester spoiler

Here's our micra with a Lester spoiler fitted,(as per last link above...) and a couple of pictures of the rest of it!
Now I've got it to a state I can post some pics here, this is our SE K12. Yes I know it's Kiwi Green (J13) but I think the Micra pulls it off well. No major mechanical mods, and the cosmetics all done on a budget (ie skirts £20, off e-bay etc) even undercharged for the spoiler, and painted free (thanks dad!!). The best mods were painting the fog surrounds and fitting Phillips lamps....

Honestly 160SRs are wicked cars mon! i love mine. been caning the mileage, different roads, europe wide.

i need a strut brace - front

new springs - sime minor drop, dont want to affect the factory balance

maybe spacers for the rear wheel alignment? is that a danger, a bit roughneck to the handling?

CALLING ALL 160SR boys ('n GURLS) lets get our heads toghether and get better air induction for our motors! who's got some layout ready? :glare:

Hi nismo_k12 (what a beautiful nick ;) )
my stickers are made on original last edition (10/05) nismo files by one of the best graphics factory in Italy (he was involved in F&F3 presentations...if you whant by pm I can give you the contact, I purchased them for 100€)
I've the logo impressed on leather seats headrests, s-tune logos, complete 350z pedals (also the fourth), killer switch by nismo, cover for seat belt and fire killer by sparco. I wan't to change springs with eibach ones, exhaust with one by impul. I think that the bonnet sticker is too excessive and so I preferred to wait....
bye

Nice thanks :)

Where did you get those decals from?, and what tyres you using?
My tires are Pirelli P6000 185/50 16...but I want to change (after our Ministry authorization) with Yokohama 195/45 16. The pirelli are an exception, in Italy most 160 SR mount continental.
:grinning:

my new 56 activ problems

:suspect: do all k12 micras hold water in the front suspension cups under the bonnet ?, and has anyone had the boot lid come open while driving ?.

Bill,

you've posted in the wrong thread - this thread is for pics you should have started a new one.

Do u have a photo of where the water is? I cant say i've ever noticed it.

My bootlid used to rattle a lot but got it fixed under warranty. I have noticed that you have to slam it shut pretty hard otherwise it won't close properly o_O .

thanks for the tip, i'm new to this. i have no photo as yet but i looked at other new micras outside the showroom and they had water collecting in the top of the strutts (where the suspension leg top bolts are fixed in the engine bay ).
cheers anyway, Gaz.

Here are some more pictures of my 160SR my mate Ash took with his great camera. Think they came out really well for night pictures...you'll have to excuse the link to another forum and the Punto. ;)

We're planning a big Focus vs. Micra photoshoot when we've had a change to clean both our cars (the Micra needs a concours esq scrub and steam clean!), will post the pictures when it's done. Looking forward to it!

Pics of me and the GF's 160SR

Took these at the end of summer.
Back to having the standard numberplate, as i decided the jap one didnt look good with the uk bumper. : )

Hi, could you please tell me where you got your lester spoiler from please?

Thanks, Jamie.

Hi Jamie,

Do I have to? I like our's being different! ...Ok then, but only because they've gone out of business! I got it from South Coast Wheels (When they were still trading) in Southampton.

IF YOU REALLY HAVE TO have one... Try www.edworthys.co.uk then type in micra to search the site (it's on page 5 - part number H902) although a google should find you other UK stockists.

As for the Micra, got another kit going through the paintshop (free!!) and have fitted an I-pod adaptor to the stereo (Matching green Nano) and a modified Tomtom mount to the dash above the trip comp...

wheels are for sale if you want the. 17 inch Stil Auto Alloys with 4 brand new toyos TR1's.

I only had ebiach springs on her. 30mm i think.

Thanks Tazmaniac, I wont copy, just a general question ;-) he he. It really sets the car of well. It does look nice.

Thanks, Jamie.

Cheers Jamie!

I thought so too, though I really wanted the SX style window spoiler (colour matched) but didn't fancy the problems with holes in the rear window...

Happy new year everyone.

Taz, can you tell me, how do you attatch the spoiler on your micra? And how heavy is the spoiler, does the boot close itself when lifted?

Thanks, Jamie.

Lester spoiler...

Happy new year everyone.

Taz, can you tell me, how do you attatch the spoiler on your micra? And how heavy is the spoiler, does the boot close itself when lifted?

Thanks, Jamie.

It's fitted by drilling 2 holes in the top of the bootlid using 2 little spigot things supplied to mark out the position (all instructions in Italian - as it should be...) then using the mastic sealant supplied stick it in position then secure with the 2 screws supplied. It's not heavy, and we've had no problems with lift etc.

Regards

Mike
