nice car, JayY,

what seats are those?
They're mikes seats from his NME K11, lovely seats, they really are. All Super S/SR seats should have been like that IMO. They're on par with K10 Super S seats :)

A few pics Andy ??LOL Really nice ones there. Especially like the one of the car head on.

Get some nice silver mesh for the grill and I would remove the 16v badge of the back too.

i like the 16v badge and people ask if its actually a 16v and u should see their faces lol. Mesh Kristian has that. Ill have to go up at one point and get it sorted.

The causeway to Holy Island:

lindesfarne is a lovely place isnt it, but they aren't kidding about the tides over the causeway, when i was a kid i saw land rover get washed away, the water was only 3/4 up the tyres, it washed it away like a toy, luckily the people in it got to the refuge tower safely.

Yeah it is, that was my second visit, last time we saw a mondeo chance it across the causeway, he did make it, but it was VERY close, the causeway was covered in water, big crowd gathered to see if he'd make it lol

HAHAHA you should have made bets :)

My latest pics :)

Finally had some time to take a few pictures of the little white beast and I thought I'd show you all what I've been doing over the past couple of months.

Got the colour coding done (except for the mirrors, not sure about those yet  )

Also got new front and rear bumpers, thanks to Alienfish. The rear was a standard colour coded one I painted white (after I fudged up my black one), front is super S, as you can see.

Meshed it and did a few minor repairs to the bumper before painting and fitting and it came out great I think. Not bad for £15 anyway :)

Also got the Micra Power decals made up with the Nissan font James put up on here.

It feels like I've been doing a lot more work than I actually have to it. Its amazing how much time the colour coding actually takes up! Nice to know that I've done it all myself though. Its not perfect, but its all a learning process to me.

Future plans: Try to fit the clear sidelights I got off ebay, CD player (probably fitted by Halfords since I'm such a useless newbie!), central locking/alarm, splitters and alloys when I get around to it/get the cash together. Oh and super-S fog/driving lights too. I need those, as you can see.

I think somewhere earlier in this thread I have the pictures of how the car used to be when I started on here. Feel free to give opinions, but I'm just putting the pics up to show you how my little project is moving forward!

Just thought I'd keep y'all updated anyway!

wonder how they built that road then haha
it was originally built in small sections using a system of small dams/seawalls, the water only gets about 6' deep, but a fast current, it is now repaired using very fast drying asphalt the kind used on motorways to fill potholes when they form, it goes off in about 15 minutes.

me and zeph had to meet in some M1 services, so he could give me my cams back... and i took the time to take this slightly amusing picture ;)
