Petrol Smell

Hi, lately i've been noticing a strong petrol smell both inside and outside the car, and I'd like to know what do check and what not.. Since you guys have probably dealt with this kind of problem before I figured it would be easier to ask than to just check every single thing.
The car is a 97' 3 door. I just filled the tank and it smells really strong. If I dont fill up the tank it doesnt smell as bad, but still smells a bit when I'm driving it and under speed (I have a heavy right foot lol)

The filler pipe rusts and leaks. Check this out first.

Also the hoses under the rear seat, mine was rotted and leaked

My LX used to have a really bad petrol smell whenever I filled up at the petrol station then drove with a window down, turns out it was a huge split in the top and bottom of this breather box ( fumes where getting sucked into the cabin via the fuel pump inspection cover under the rear seat ) I took the tank out of the car and repaired the box with super glue and baking soda
