Passenger Door lock woes.

Long story short....1999 K11,lying up for 3 months.
Started first time and driving as normal...great!
However,the passenger door remains locked,and neither the key or the remote will open it.
Any quick suggestions as to what next...as the door will not open I cannot get to the bottom of the card to release it etc etc.....

Not even the inside lock button?
Jammed door lock?

Thinking there ,if its remote then the inside door lock has a lock ,but the external key lock works direct
So get in the car ,unlock via the key lock and try and open and push fro. The inside
The doors and stick shut abit or a jammed / sticky lock mech?

Turning the key,reveals a soft rubbery feel with no positive click on/off.
Next stop may well be cutting a hole in the doorcard and performing keyhole surgery !!

Tried disconnecting the battery and trying the lock? Just may work, the I side lock will automatically work manually as well
Also may be able to get the card off , there's a cover behind the door handle and the grab handle if pulled up will pop off to two screws and you maybe able to pull and slide up the door card
