Panhard rod replacements

Hi All, My rear wheel panhard rod snapped last week and have just bought another on ebay, To make this one last longer should I paint in anti rust paint or anything else and should I renew the the bushes in this rod & used the same nut & bolts. Yours peter0003

Hi all, However my panhard rod replacement is still in the pipeline via Parcelforce and I need it in a hurry as a lot of shift work is coming up next week . Anyone know if I can get a rod quicker ie GizFab.com who makes them for racing k11's , but not for road use!! yours peter0003

When I snapped mine years back I just welded it up. I'm guessing it's not an option for you.
Any idea on eta for the new second hand one could you get it fitted in time? Or would it be an option to try and bolt the old one together just to make it drivable for a bit ?

Good news it arrived today 1st July at 15.00pm and will rust proof it tomorrow then fit it.
