Paint flaking off the bonnet

Came out this morning to see this on the bonnet, a chunk of paint missing. It's look like it's lifted off the primer.

Is this a common micra thing? or just someone's poor respray job?

Looks as though water has gotten under the paint possible cause could have been a small stone chip.
My bonnet has a few of those and I've used a touch up stick in the past.
This has worked upto now.

The area is a common place for stones to chip bonnet they are in this same area and some further up beside the headlight.

May have been resprayed quickly and has not adhered properly.
Or using cheap and incorrect methods.

When it gets warmer I plan to do my boot lid under the number plate it needs a sand down and is an ideal place for me to test my skills or lack of them.

Then if this happens to work well it will be worth while me doing the rear quarter panel.
My only problem is doing that in such a place that others may find it to be too near to their parked vehicles.

For time being tho I've used a wheel silver that does not paint match to protect the metal until I get the Kyo paint.

Oddly, I think the black dots left behind are where stone chips have happened.

Oh well, it'll be getting a rub down and rattle can fix, cant justify a proper respray. I've had good results from rattle cans before so I'm hopefull it'll look not too bad.
