So i thought i would start a thread to show you guys what we are doing.

BUT please bare in mind that we have only had 2 days on it upto date! :)


We took a 2004 k12 + gutted the front ready for its new heart

Engine all hanging on its own allong with the evo struts :p

Even the bonnet fits with clearance lol.

Also in build we have a saxo with subaru sti running gear :p

My other build thats complete is my saxo with rear engine (volvo t5 same as focus rs)

We have decided to go against the standard rear subframe, and seeing as we have a "few" Subaru's at our disposal we, thought we would go down that route :)
Front hubs are now located in lower wishbones with bottom ball joint's from a totally different car ><.
front subframe is now taking shape with a few more hours it should be complete.
got a few ideas on bracing etc so need to order some steel in to get cracking on with that.
But now "normal" work has to be done to pay the bills :(

That is going to be a sexual car when its finished hahaha i'm not sure you'll need quite 400hp in a K12, though you'll definitely feel it! I wonder how much you could've done starting with a stock engine like a 160SR or something ..... :rolleyes: if i become rich and famous I'll be sure to get another K12 and see how far it can be pushed to its limits
 
A little more has been done. Car now has all wheels on the ground ,Steering rack is in place front subframe is near completion. Engine has had a re-move, just got to connect the rack to the column and rework the bulk head , It sits nice on 18's and they clear too!

Engine in.....engine out.....engine in......engine out.............. id post some pics but I doubt they will be of any interest lol. steering rack now sat in final position, gear set and linkage fitted.. more welding done to the chassis.....More info to follow ><
 
So a quick update! we now have a full drive line, prop / diff / shafts etc all fitted.
We also have bremo brakes on the rear aswell as the front...OH and handbrake sorted too :)
Custom fuel cell is here and looks great.
side exit exhaust has been manufactured :p
now the wiring is going in :D then we can crack on with the interior! and get this baby struck up :)
