Use the front and rear trolley jack points, these are shown in the haynes and have a metal loop under the front and rear bumper in the centre.

OK, I'll use those then if I get skirts. I have noticed the points along the sills aren't very strong and bend easily - not sure if that's normal!

When i jack the car up,i jack mine on the rear axle...and for the front i use the Susp Arms.

If your on about a proper ramp in a garage (where your slide the legs on each corner) They should clear,as they cleared mine today (but had to use a block of wood on one side)

Hope that makes sense lol

i wouldn't advise jacking the front via the central beam/crossmember area cos its not very strong and the cars weight tends to bend the crossmember, especially if its weakened by rust

i found the rear loop is much too high for a halfords trolley jack to lift the rear high enough to support the chassis or axle beam on axle stands
