Oil Pressure Switch

Hi, would like to know what socket size to pull out the oil pressure switch on my 1.3 K11. Thanks

24mm, but you want a deep socket so it will go over the whole switch.

Tried 24, 25 and 1". 27 is too big. Would mean 26 but there's no size that in metric. Any ideas what other tool I can use or maybe in imperial socket sizing. Attached photo.

I just checked my other engine and it's a 24mm too, maybe your socket isn't deep enough?

Thanks for your reply. Could you tell from the photo if this is the original switch or some replacement? Sockets I used were deep BTW.

Here's what one of the oil pressure switches in mine looks like (I'm not near the other car/engine both are dizzy engines):

The hex corners look different. Mine might already be a replacement that's why it's not 24mm. Hope someone can help what's the size or how can I pull it out. Space is too tight.

Your right yours looks a bit different, almost like a double hex...

There's a 26mm spanner in our tool box... I used a pair of calipers the closest I could get in imperial was either 1" or 1 1/16"

thats the clinching aint it ? and the hex is down by the thread (13mm ?)

Needed a 26mm deep socket but was able to force 1" to pull out this type of sender. Replaced with normal 24mm sender. All sorted, no more oil leaks.
