In that case, I take that back. There maybe some differences, as mine was 15mm, (very early '94 plate).

Mine was measured with the ARB taken back to metal, (no paint). Either way, the Whiteline HD rear anti roll bar is a HUGE increase over stock ;)

My oem bar is 16mm dia the HD 22mm whiteline bar is 2.5 times harder. Someone needs to work out fitting two oem bars together.

what bout coupling em together like this?

Wow, yes! The centre of the bar is the lowest part of the back of the car so additional one really ought to locate above the original one I suppose. The droplinks can still work that way though.
On 2nd thought this won't work. You wouldn't be able to fit those red bits near the mounting bushes. Unless they were alloy or steel they wouldn't be firm enough and they won't slide on from the ends. They also need a better connection to the beam. In this scenario I think the two bars would rotate in relation to oneanother.

What about this-
Lay one bar on top of the other
Cut bits out of it where the shape won't let them fit together
Leave the mounting bush areas at single thickness
Weld them together and install as one!
