I removed my BCM yesterday and re attached the battery last night to lock the car. I removed the battery terminals this morning to replace the BCM to find the engine coolant fan comes on continuously when the ignition is turned on and the Immobilizer won't let the car start. Everything works except the ignition. I trolled the internet today and tryed a re sync to the key...I only have the one. It open and closes the car the instrument panel looks to work but Immobilizer stopping the car starting. It's my daughters car and money's tight. She needs her car for University and I don't know what else to do. I've tryed the turning the key 6 times and even left the key in for an hour but nothing. The ECU isn't communicating to my OBD so I can't even cancel a code. Has anyone got any ideas or know how I can fix this. If it's a garage job, would you know anyone reliable and trustworthy and won't rip me off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
