Nosy Neighbours !!!!

I got this letter from the council this morning, I'm not happy, I've got to get rid of my spares car now.

It's alright for them to make my house stink of cigarette smoke because they are all chain smokers and the smell comes through the floor cavity, it's alright for them to let their dog out and have it crap all over the street, it's alright for them to have windchimes in the garden that annoy the crap out of me at night, and it's alright for them to be old, ugly and a perfect advertisement for birth control and euthanasia, but have a car on the drive with bits taken off it and its a cardinal sin, oooohhhh it makes my blood boil.

if you want revenge leave the crickets just throw loads and loads of maggots all over there garden and around there house then call out the enviromental health department about the unsanitary condition of there house!

Get a car cover... and save a weeks worth of pee in a jar...go round and pour it through their letter box and by the time i dries it will stink to high heaven, keep doing it... you cant get the smell of pee to go away!

I got a letter much like this, however it was from the council telling me and the neighbours to stop playing football outside of our house. Which is pretty seriously stupid to me, should I not stop playing I would have received an ASBO. :glance:

It's okay for the whole street to do drugs and supply, loads up cars with immigrants, get prostitutes and dumps/burn/smash cars. But I am not allowed to kick a spherical object for my own personal amusement? What is this world coming to. :down:

Sad gits have nothing better to do so always have to interfere with other people. Surely a better option would have been for the council to come round and speak to you anyway (as they were there), and get your side of things before threatening you with court proceedings! Restoration & car cover sound like a great solution though.

Stick a photo up of what your front garden is like and let us see how 'bad' it is!

Here's the offending eyesore...

The K10 rear end is being scrapped anyway, the blue bike is going as well, the red and white bike you can just see is going this weekend to it's owner, behind that (out of shot) is a black Kawasaki 550 which I am sorting out for my wife Ginnette and is nearly ready for the road, all that will be left there is the K11 and 1 or 2 bikes, I dont think it's excessively untidy, although I am getting grief from Ginnette, it's on the understanding I get rid of some stuff that I am allowed another bike (Suzuki 600 Bandit). I think I'll end up stripping the K11 for the stuff I think I'll use and store it in my shed, then scrap the shell, so all that will be there is two bikes, my garden will look bare, never mind, I can let the grass grow about 3' high, call it a nature reserve, or fill the garden with mooning gnomes, that'll upset the neighbours.

if its not effecting them or causing them pain then why cant they just leave things be! maybe you did something to them, to start with accidently and they are being childish and getting back at you, i dont know but that is sucks!!!

It's the old bag on the left with the huge sattelite dish thats the complainer, I upset her when I moved in 8 years ago by having a huge party and making a noise, then I got arrested (and wouldn't go quietly:blush: :doh: ) after I assaulted her nephew when he was abusive to Ginnette, I think I've lowered the tone of the Close a little because I'm not out in the garden every week cutting the grass and hedges to spirit level straightness, they were given a 4 bedroom council house years ago because she couldn't keep her legs closed, now the kids have gone she bought it at a knock down discount and now thinks she's lady of the manor because she owns the biggest house in the street.

I need to hire a mini digger to pull out some tree roots to concrete it, it's on the list for this summer.

I admit I have had a colourful and sometimes chequered past, but I'm a nice guy really that just wants to get on with the day to day stuff and likes to be left to my own devices, but if someone tries to get in my face then there's no holds barred, I think that people should learn to live and let live, not everybody has the same standards in life.

thats not bad at all i mean once u get rid of what you say you are going to get rid of then it will be one car. in my house we have a suzuki jimny on the drive and a metro (the poo cars) and then a toyota hilux parked outside and then my car parked outside our neighbours (she lets us cos were nice to her and help her out) so thats 4 CARS.

I can also see where the neighbours/council are coming from, it does look a bit like a scrap yard. Although if it's your own property I'd feel very tempted to tell them to stuff off. If it is your own then what's stopping you from building a fence all the way around?

Your Garden doesn't look that bad, in fact that's nothing compared to what i have to look at everyday. Boats, Caravans and Trailers that get used once a year and 5 cars per house clutter the place up. Councils only send letters because they havn't got the balls to talk to you face to face,i even had a letter for a wheelie bin left on the Pavement overnight....

Did your Garden ever have a Fence and a Gate?
That would enhance the area in which you live but the area also has to be lived in by others and having too much stuff which is visable, even if it is still being used for spares, can knock 000's off the value of the Houses around you

the K10 was for a trailer, but the floor is shot so it's going, as for the K11, theres going to be very little of it left after its finished with, plus theres a lot of rot in the floor and chassis, so its really not worth having.
