Hi.
I have a Japanese import K11 manufactured yr 2000. Automatic and 4wd. After redoing the cylinder head on reassembly there is no spark. It does not have an immobiliser. It ran with a key with no chip. My wife lost the original key but the electronics in that were just for the central locking. My mechanic says 'there is a live coming from the ignition but the same wire is not live to the ECU.'
There is a chance he shorted something when he reattached the battery whilst the car was stripped down when he needed to open drivers window.
Never had any issue before.
No NATS box found.
Does anyone have any ideas please where we should look?
2 auto electricians are baffled as is my mechanic
