Nissan Micra Transformation

Hello All! :')

i am making this on behalf of a friend, but as we are both doing the work on the car, i thought i would be okay to make a forum...

First of all i must ask, the Micra only does 93mph.. its a 1.0 twin cam 16valve, with 690000 miles on it, i was told they should do more? should i advance the dizzy? or would it not make a difference?

any way! the car!

This is what it looks like when we got it, bog standard! very clean! so we put some alloy wheels on it, but when we got it the clutch was on the way out so after 600 miles we put a new clutch it it!

This is the day we changed the clutch, as you can see the alloy wheels are on. what do you think of them? anyway back to the point, after we got it up in the air it was time for work! :)

this is a photo as the gear box is coming out, drive shafts all out, front cross member off, on the floor by the jack, starter motor out, battery and tray out, and all the gear box mounts out! unfortunately this was the only photo i got as we we both busy! but every thing went okay!:D

then next stage was tinting the front head lights, (yellow) i wasn't quite sure what it would look like, but was keen to do it! so after a little bit of playing around this is what they looked like...

And here she is at the jap show, it was a very good turn out! this photo is on the jap group on facebook, as are many others, as you can see in the back ground this was a very good turn out, after everybody had done looking around everybodys cars, we all went up to a roud about in truro which is out the way, and every body stood around the round about watching every body burnout and drift! such a good night!

Right!
i am lowering it 60mill all round, and i am wondering weather to paint the front and back bumpers matt black? and weather to keep the 15" wheels that are on it or put the steels back on? i have also brought a pipe across air filter:)

opinions would be much lovely! :D i will keep it posted and more pictures! thanks!

Think you should change those wheels and slam it :D

Good condition for 690,000 miles. Mine's ticked over to almost 86,000 so a bit of catching up to do..
