We transplant nissan K10 and K11 engines into austin minis here in Trinidad and Tobago due to scarcity of parts as well as reliability and performance of the nissan motors, heres a link to the TMF site where most of our work is posted. we just completed our 13th ma10 transplant thus far and on to our 3rd CG13de this month. will keep tou guys updated:

actually did two 4e's already but the 4e fte is on the cards for next year! really a tight fit in a roundnose compared to the micra.

whats the perfornace like on the MA engines over the standard mini?

would be nice to know :D

also is the transplat particually difficult providing you know what you are doing e.g tight fit?

cheers

Great work mate what about the ma09?(Y)
That would be cool, actually cooler than an st:(

super turbos are getting really thin on the ground these days but its quite possible. as u can see theres alot of room left, i think the supercharger though small may need relocating

the ma10 engine in a mini performs almost exactly as a 1275 just smoother and quieter plus they are 5 speed. the transplant is the least invasive of any transplant u may be familiar with, and by now we are able to complete a drive-in drive-out conversion in seven days flat. As ma engines become more scarce we are shifting to the CG10de and CG13de engines of the k11 march and nissan CUBE. heres a link of us starting one on the floor:
(plz excuse the barefooted appearance as we were too eager to reach for flip flops before gettin it started!)
