Nissan March K12 Automatic Transmission Questionable Gear Changing Characteristic

Hi guys,

I have noticed that my Nissan March K12 A/T sometimes is quite timely to auto-change to higher gear when running at leveled/plain smooth road. I step on the gas pedal in a consistent down to flooring way. I can hear the engine sounds quite choked already because of the timely gear auto-change from its automatic transmission.

Is this normal or this needs some adjustment in the engine? Or this has damaged already?

Need inputs here please...

the kick-down cable at the front of the transmission can be adjusted to spec by loosening the locking nut on the cable and hanging a 1 kilogram weight off it to obtain the correct pre-load. tighten up the lock nut and all should be well.

I don't understand it much but I will to relay this statement to a mechanic

Thank you
