Looks much better with the LED brake light, I was thinking about that when i was following you before.
And you are so immature with the reversing cam pic! :p

thanks :D you will have to see the light in real life and say what you think. i may redo it because i glued it on and you can kinda see the glue showing through...

lol it wasn't me! it used to say "this pen is very sharp" but the other bits when missing... and for some reason it was written in reverse so that it would be the right way round on the cam.....

Big thanks to Masumori from the March Cabriolet Club over in Japan, he sent me a new B Piller trim for my car for free!!! alot better than nissan's price of £275

will get pics of it on the car later

MAS you are a LEGEND!!!!

just took some arty farty pics of the cab just for fun lol

Nice pics NeX, Bath has some good scenery for photoshoots ;)

thanks mate :D indeed it does, tho i find all the best spots are not accessable by car >> tho i have an idea for one on the tow path, i remember there being a removable bolard near by :D

thanks mate, yea it really is great, you can tell that nissan really wanted to make this car special. and it is amazing in this weather, driving slow through the countryside in the middle of the day when everyone else is at work... nothing like it :D

Gawjuss! :D
put the body coloured grill inserts back in :p

lol i might do, i am wondering what to do with it at the moment, i might put a 2000 bumper on or a 2003 or maybe a kit, or de facelift it.... really not sure, i think some shoppage is required

An SI bumper with the built in foggies might look cool? then you don't run the risk of smushing the original bumper! :D

Just curious, if any of the cabby lot are planning on tracking down the aftermarket rear spoiler for these cars. :)

dunno, not a massive fan of it, i think it would have to be blended in to work properly... could ask the cabriolet club tho :)

im abit 50/50 on it...but then i dont own a cab anyway lol. Mainly just curious, if you had your connection hunting for stuff ;)

2001 facelift it :D 2001 headlights 2001 front bumper, 2001 grills and 2001 rear bumper, then de-bump it.

in all honesty iam not a fan of prefacelifting it or changing it to look like a uk spec. imo it would loose it march coolness. and look like any other uk spec but convertiable.

P.S put the standard red grills back in..chrome ones looks gay and comon lol.

well it looks like it will be going prefacelift, Nismo march G style. i have the March G bumpers, got the nismo splitters, or at least they are on their way, and i will be using the crystal black lights too

lol, well you never know, i might get so desperate for money that i will sell it all, including the march rear lights i have ;)

Right well seeing as my cabriolet is going on a long road trip and the stereo is so weak that you can't hear it when the roof is down, i decided to pack it full of music!!!

i got:
2 X 2 channel 75w RMS Mutant Amps
1 X 16.5cm shallow mount Infinity component speakers at 2 ohms impedence and 90w RMS
1 X 14cm regular Infinity component speakers at 2 ohms and 75w RMS
1 X CBR10 active Vibe base box, with 10" sub
1 X Vibe fast plug to disconnect the bass box easier
1 X High quality Mutant wiring kit
2 X Sunvisor screens

the first problem was that the boot on the Cabriolet is so small that the bass box would not fit in it, so i had to make a new box using the parts. the new box is only 2cm smaller but it makes all the difference. the boot is so small that in some places the 10" speaker on its own will not fit in.

so i made a new box and that all went well, it sounds great and only just fits in.

then i went to fit the amps. the idea was that the amps would be bolted to the back seats, but again the amps were too big, so i had to come up with a way that the amps were further forward to overhang one of the gurders in the back. again they are a very tight fit.

then i wired that all in, which is an amazing amount of wiring.

next came the door speakers, I cut holes in the wing mirror covers for the tweeters, and went through a few covers before it was perfect. no i didn't use the march ones they are safe, these are just normal UK ones.

i went to fit the woofers in the doors but again they didn't fit properly, but after a bit of heart breaking drilling they were fitted ok. I fitted the cross over network boxes in a plastic bag to keep them water proof and then wrapped them in foam to stop them rattling, then they were pushed in behind the speakers.

the next problem was where to put the rear speakers (i was going for full surround sound.) i ended up finding some space in the rear quarters, again some heart breaking cutting had to be done but now they look fairly factory, tho i might make some adjustments to them a little later.

the whole system sounds increadible, i am very pleased, i just had to put some 52 ohm resistors in series with the front tweeters as they were a bit over powering.

finally i fitted the sun visor screens. i made up some custom brackets to hold them in place by welding a nut to a bit of metal, and gringing it into shape, then taking a normal sunvisor trim and cutting it down to cover it.

i decided that the clips to hold the sun visors on would just be drilled straight into the body of the car, i had done so much cutting up that i thought a small screw hole is nothing by comparason.

the whole lot took several days, it sounds perfect with just the right amount of everything, the screens work really well, and the surround sound is perfect too, watching a film is amazing for a car!

i am tempted to buy a digital projector next and mount it on the dash to project onto walls, for a proper cinima style!

lol it might have something to do with all the iron gurders that hold the car together lol. there is not much on there to rattle really. but i am so pleased with it, even with the sub cranked up there is noise but no distortion or rattling.

yea transformers for the win! new one coming up :D i will be there :D

same imax ftw! :D
i have an autobot badge on my sunvisor and a decepticon on the passenger one :D they make me smile :D:D

Bl00dy Hell, that looks sweet as, Do you tie the car down with chains when you leave it? lol

thanks mate :D

lol no we just don't get crime here :D i have two other cars as well as this one, their installs are all on show, there is about £1700 worth of kit between them, and i have never had any problems :)

ebay! :p i payes 78p posted

ooh i may be tempted lol

what alloys are they ? mine look exactly the same :S
the ones that came on the car

they are halfords jobbies, i belive they are called 100s and made by ripspeed, but i cant remember because i bought them about 6 years ago lol.

lol thanks, really this was incredibly hard to do, i felt so sick, but i was determined to get it perfect.

Today me and ModdedMicra went to the scrap yard. we had a really good haul! one of the things i got was Hyundai Accent Door Speaker Grills. the reason is that in the Cabriolet i want a factory look and i hated the way the speakers in the rear quarters looked because they used the Infinity grills and they look a bit chavy and bodged.

so i fitted the Hyundai grills and they look awesome, i am so pleased with how they turned out, and the music is still nice and clear which is great :D

one other thing we did was to change the grills to black grills, i like these ones alot :D

I know, but I don't have the money or the nerve to cut up my rear seat surrounds! Meh, I don't get people sitting in the back anyway, so it'll be fine lol
I just want my splitter sorted now really, Hello Kitty on my glovebox and some more whiteline kit then I'm done lol
