Newbie - Corsa Coilover questions

Hi all!

Newbie Micra owner here.

Recently purchased a K11 Micra Muzic 1.0 for £575. Engine is sound and bodywork is pretty much mint apart from a dent on the roof -.-

I read briefly and was told that Corsa coilovers could fit on a Micra with a little modifying so I went out and got some for £50 of a mate.
Been reading some threads on here about how to mod them and I know what to do but am totally lost on about how to approach this as I don't want to mess it up!

I know the top cup needs to be replaced with the ones off the Micra but I was told the metal bit just below the cup needs to be trimmed down to fit, is this true?

Also one of the holes at the bottom needs to be drilled / slotted. Top one is already oval shaped, do you think these would just fit?

I'm a IT network techy and cars are not my thing!
Any help much appreciated, maybe someone has pics of theirs, before + after?

hi skymera :grinning:
you can either file a 1mm dip in the slotted hole, or slot the lower hole (upwards iirc) by 1mm.
and the (modded stock) corsa topmount is a far better option imo
