New wheels 14'' on K11

Hello to all !!!

I just bought new wheels for my k11. The size are 14'' / JJ6 / ET38
The tyres that i bought with the wheels are Huge !! 185/70/14

Could anyone advise my the correct Tyre sizes that will fit best.
On my internet research i found that 165/60/14 are the factory recommend right ?
My Car is March 1998 k11 1.0 engine
I just want little better acceleration from my old 13'' steel ones is it possible ?

Also do you think guys if i painted to silver will be better looking ?

Thanks

Hello George. I run the 185s on mine, they're fine mate, may just slow you a tad because of extra grip and weight....but not a lot that you'd notice.
And NO....leave them black!!!! nice wheels mate.
I'm still looking for a wrap around spoiler for you, I have not forgotten. Cheers bud.

Thanks dude

I already put them on my car :)

Thanks for the research !!

Please if someone know for the above to help me pleaseeeeeee

I used to had the 13'' steel wheels. (with the factory tyres 155/570/13 if i am correct ? )
I change it with 14'' aluminum and they put me 175/65/14 size of tyre
since then... my gear ratio feels longer now and the car did not accelerate as before..

Generally the car looks like is little slower..

Is it possible ? because of the bigger tyres to have those issues ?

What do you re comment ? to give them back and change them with 165/60/14 ?
The car also is much higher from the ground !

Any help will be appreciate !!

Thanks guys

165/60/r14 was the original size from the factory for the later type K11s and is only 1.1% larger in terms of rolling radius when compared to a 155/70/r13.

The above should put the looks right and improve things in terms of effective gearing.

I think you mean 165/60/14 above don't you. These will be better for acceleration than the 185's as they're a slightly smaller diameter. You won't notice the difference though really.
