Is it safe to bypass the neutral switch on a k12 with a manual gearbox, and where is the switch located?

bypassing any gearbox switch can leads to many problems like the situation with an earlier member bypassing the cooling fan, I assume you have a automatic gearbox as manual gearboxes have a reverse switch fitted, Down load the workshop manual for free, listed on my previous replies to members. my advice is to leave alone until you are competent in this area.
