Sick off my 1.3slx feeling like a Ford model T. Fancy a 1.6 or 1.8 dropped in it....... is there any engine that fits in easy-ish with not too many complications?

Not such thing as easy when it comes to engine swaps mate. Ga16 is the easiest.

If you can't do the research yourself how will you do the engine swap? Will just end up an unfinished project if you keep having to ask us simple questions. Get in the habit of using google and the forum search function and you'll be in a much healthier state of preperation for the swap.

3psi boost might be no problem on stock setup I reckon, with fully retarded ignition... 20% power increase...

3psi feels like driving a 1.6 engine. its what im running with standard injectores, fuel pump and ecu, stock engine can reach up to 8psi iirc but thats with a NIStune, Fuel pump and bigger injectors...
