N.CVT light blinking

Hi guys, today my N.CVT light came on and started blinking, however when I restarted the vehicle it was fine, and then came back. I've done the diagnostic process, and the 1st blink is longer than the rest, which means 'Accelerator or accelerator position switch circuit is short circuited or disconnected', but I have no idea how to fix this. Any help would be very appreciated!

Hi mate it is also worth checking out the electromagnetic brushes for wear check this thread!

I'm guessing a bit here buddy, but I seem to remember the switch is down on the pedal itself - I think.

Thanks Dave - got it sorted now, it hasn't come on since I did a diagnostic.
