My turbo project

Moving to the forced induction section for the people who wanted to know what i'm doing to get 280 bhp

The engine is a ET15T which is from the nissan cherry turbo.
Spec
Efi ecu
Garrett GT25R turbo
Custom exhaust and inlet maniflod
Fully ported and polished head
Cam Stage 3 or 4 haven't decided yet
Acl pistons and bearings

The gearbox can handle this power no problem at all which is why i have choose to use this engine in my micra
 
First of all i have the lump and secondly i've measured roughly and it will fit without any mods to the chassis legs.

It was designed to be turbo charged anyway so no hassle of lowering the compression and all that. And it's a very strong end bottom end wise so it's cheap enough for me to build.

There a great following for these engines in aus so parts are no problem aswell for me.

I'm surprised no one else has done it
 
It has been twice (I think) to a K10 by Umar - his user name was Super S IIRC
 
Thats right he still has one of them, there arnt more of them as they are old and uncommon engines these days.
 
Lucky if you can get parts to fix it yeah. I went in Umar's Cherry k10 and it was quite mental!

The turbo i got for really good money and it's set at 1.2 bar

Bottom end wise just the piston's and bearings just waiting on price for that.

Just the cam for top end wise waiting also for that price aswell.

Exhaust i got for £250 from aus also i have the rb30 trottle body and the manifold i can make myself.

E.C.U a fair bit due to been the best on the market but it's worth it.

So i would say in the region of £2500 for everything that i'm getting as i can build it myself no problem as i have the machinery and i know a mate the has a dyno so i can set it up for free.

I'm gone get around the 280 mark with a bit of work from myself. I'm from Ireland so it's going to be a one off over here.

Will get pic up when i can no promise anything though as i'm a busy man with work.

I think the Rb30 throttle is a bit Big for it.
What sort of Design is your inlet going to be?

And fitted a Ga16DE(T) in a k11 :)

The Cherry Engine is Tough!
the Bottom block is v.strong,
The Heads can Crack,Cracked 2 myself.lol
but besides that, they are overall Great engines:)

The Gearboxes are Strong enough,
I'm running 200BHP

I'm going to be running an efi euro 1
The cam is from aus from camtect
The inlet going to be a side entry with a tappered pelum.

umar do you know any other tricks you can do on them???

I'm from kildare, but i'm in england as i have started my new job over here now. The conversion is going to be done in england aswell because my work has all the machinery you could possible need.
