I have a Nissan Micra K11 I have had a after market stereo system in it before but now i have took it out and put it back in it wont work it seems like the live isnt passing through to the stereo and it takes a while for the car to tick over for the brake lights come on when i press them Im not sure if the ground has gone somewhere so ive stripped the dash out can someone help me Im kindov not an electrics person lol. Will post some pics of the car up soon.

I used a adaptor plug
I think it may be the red wire that goes to the ignition because a bit of the plug is burnt, would it be this and if it is what else would be burnt out?

what wires would be burnt out? and i need to ground the wires in different places?
ok thanks mate ill try another grounding wire now and would you have any idea on what wires would be burnt out?
the two main lives to the fuse box are dead aswell
Done it the wires from the alternator and the battery was dead everything works again now dunno how its done that when i took the stereo out though lol
