My MICRA project

So, I've decided that you guys need another update on the car (also please can I have suggestions for names) so firstly on Friday I drove 450 odd miles to collect a few bits and bobs as postage would cost too much so @frank I picked up one of your modded manifolds and wow! Pops and bangs all the time now!!
I also picked up a rear boot brace and arches but haven't got any pictures of these :(
Now the main reason why I did this drive is because of these beauties!

These are absolutely immaculate and not bad for £60 with all the plastic trim too!! Soooo much more comfy
Lastly I went round to my neighbour and collected these

And I have noticed such a difference like you said @tombond with higher end pull!

Ahh it was you who bought the frank speed! I so wanted that! :p. Get a video up of it poping and banging mate :D did you feel any power increase with it at all?

Then @jamiesykes and James came round and sorted my car out :)
Fitted a ga16 air box with removal of carbon canister

And then we plugged her in and found that her idle speed and also timed her up properly :)

I live in wiltshire, westbury to be precise but i still have not passed my test (congrats btw)

Want to fix up my car before i come to any meets etc as quite frankly its embarrassing atm.. but yeah i really like what you have done with the front its the best looking 2nd Face on here IMO :)
 
Oh okay cool, I've got to go down that way soon anyway so if you need a hand with anything let me know? You need to get driving mate!!! Sure it's not that bad!!! Cheers mate but it's actually a 1st facelift with different bumpers so I'm scared this car has a hidden past

yeh i can't wait to drive bud, just need to pass now! I wouldn't worry maybe someone just liked the newer model more.. i thought the 16v badges were strange aha! Yeah man, ill talk to you in pm not to hog your blog so to speak.. could do with some help actually :laugh:
 
So good! The thing is though it was an old boy who owned it before and wasn't a very good driver! Hopefully that's all it is but not sure and okay cool!

Unbolted the tow hook and bolted it on where one of the bolts were! Solid as well as I've tried it!
